Animals and plants around the globe are being directly affected by climate change and in order to show its impact, Google Maps offers you a “window” to some of this changing ecosystems.
For example, you can spot this polar bear suffering because of melting sea ice:
Google Maps has lent the Street View 360-dregree Trekker camera to organizations such as Bears International and Amazonas Sustainable Foundation, to get evidence of the impact of climate change as well as to measure climate data offering scientists and people a tool to make better decisions in the future.
This is being done while 150 heads of state discuss climate change on the COP21 Conference in Paris.
