By activating Private Browsing, you are simply telling the browser not to store data entered in your browser from now on.

Activating Private Browsing:
- Launch your Internet browser..
- If using Firefox®, press “Ctrl + shift + P” keystroke to start private browsing.
In ChromeSM, press “Ctrl + Shift + N” keystroke to start private browsing.
In Internet Explorer®, press “Ctrl + shift + P” keystroke to start private browsing.
In Safari®, click on the “General Safari Settings” icon located in the right-upper corner of the browser and select “Private Browsing”. - Now you can browse without leaving any footprint. If you want to stop the private browsing session, follow the same steps to deactivate it.
