If you own an Android™ cell phone or any other Android™ device you can use the Android™ Market for downloading and installing a variety of Android™ applications…including games. Some of these applications are free, but some may have to be purchased. If you live in one of the 32 countries where the paid Android® Market is enabled and you have a credit card, you can freely use this feature. The instructions below will guide you through the process of setting up your Google® checkout account and purchasing and downloading applications to your Android™ device.
Instructions for buying Android™ applications:
- First, you have to sign in to your Google® account (If you don’t have an account, follow the instructions on the Google® page to create one).
- Now, go to the Google® Checkout website and sign in using your Google account.
- Here, you have to fill in all the required information about your credit card and your personal data. Then, click on the blue “Create my account” button.
- You will be redirected to the shopping summary page. Congratulations! You have just connected your Google® account with your credit card. You can now buy Android™ applications. Just log in on this account to access the Android™ Market through your device.

- Because the Google® account will be connected to your credit card, please don’t share your password with anyone.
