Facebook® photo albums are quite popular, which is why questions about using them are, too. We’ve already published an article on creating a photo album on Facebook®, and thought it might be helpful to elaborate a bit on how to name or rename photo albums. If you need help naming or changing the name of your photo albums on Facebook®, the instructions below explain exactly how to do it.
Naming Photo Albums on Facebook®:
- Launch your Internet browser, go to the Facebook® page and log in to your account.
- Click on your name to get on your Facebook® timeline page.
- Switch to the “Photos” tab under the timeline photo.
- On the photo page, switch to the “Albums” tab.
- Click on the “Create Album” tile, select photos you’ve uploaded on to your hard drive and click on the “Open” button.
- The photos get uploaded and your cursor is automatically placed in the “Untitled Album” field. Type in the name you want to title this album.
- Then click on the “Post Photos” button.
- Now you can decide if you want to tag your friends or skip this action. Once this is done, your album is created and named.
Renaming Photo Albums on Facebook®:
- Launch your Internet browser, go to the Facebook® page and log in to your account.
- Click on your name to get on your Facebook® timeline page.
- Switch to the “Photos” tab under the timeline photo.
- In your photos switch to the “Albums” tab.
- Click on the album you want to name / rename and then click on the “Edit” button on the right side of the opened album.
- At the top left side, you will see the album title or “Untitled Album” if you didn’t name the album. Click in the album box, clear the field so no letters remain and then type in the name you want to title the album.
- Then click on the “Done” button located again on the right-upper side of the interface.
