how to download the UAC Process Analyzer

Sometimes, when you install an application or even if you don’t remember installing one, and  see that it is running in the processes, it is good to check whether the Windows® process is still safe or not. Some of these applications can access your personal data and actually act as spyware or malware. For Microsoft Windows® there is an application that can analyze the integration of the application that is currently running. In the instructions below, you can learn where to download the UAC Process Analyzer and learn how to work with it to check your process’s information. This way, you may learn whether these Windows® processes are safe or not.

Downloading and checking the process information:

  1. Open your Internet browser and go to the IT Knowledge24 download page.
  2. Locate the UAC Process Analyzer section and click on the “Download now” link.
  3. Save the zipped file to your hard drive and unzip it, now run the extracted binary file.
  4. Read and confirm the terms in the license and click on the “Continue” button.
  5. The application will be launched and you should select the desired process from the “Process name” dropdown list.
  6. Click on the “Analyze” button.
  7. The process will be analyzed and you can read the information about the process.

  • The latest version of this application is designed for Windows Vista® and Windows® 7 so the information analyzed in Windows XP® may be irrelevant.
  • Please take into account that this application is not purely a security application so consider the installation of an antivirus or antispyware software. For example, see the information mentioned in the article that focuses on the installation of a free spyware and adware blocker.
