More than ever, digital music players are being used to play sound files. MP3 became a favorite format for storing audio files on the computer as well as portable and desktop players. If many audio files are saved in different areas, such as on a hard drive, flash drive or other media, you may want to group those files into a file called a playlist.

You can create different playlists from your collection of MP3s for various occasions, such as for work, a birthday party, workout at the gym, romantic evening, etc. We just select the files and save them in the order we want. To accomplish this the proper software is needed.There are several players available, but a free, powerful player, Crawler MP3 & Radio Player is very easy to use and can be downloaded from www.mp3radio.com. Follow the instructions below to create your own playlist using Crawler MP3 & Radio Player.    

Instructions:

  1. Open Crawler MP3 & Radio player (For more information, refer to the article that focuses on the installation of Radio & MP3 Player).
  2. Select the MP3 Player section.
  3. Click on the “Show/Hide PlayList” button in the right bottom corner.
  4. Click on the “Add” button in the lower part of the playlist and choose “Add File to Playlist” (add only one single MP3 file) or “Add Folder to Playlist” (add all MP3 files from the selected folder).
  5. Repeat Step 4 until you add all the MP3s you want.
  6. Now click on the “Playlist Menu” button and choose “Save Playlist”.
  7. Insert the playlist name into “File name” filed and click the “Save” button.

Tips and tricks:

  • To play the saved playlist, you click on the “Playlist Menu” button, choose “Open Playlist”, locate the *.m3u file and click on the “Open” button.
  • To remove any songs from the Playlist, select the song(s), click “Remove” and then choose “Remove Selected”.
  • You can have several Playlists in a row, just click on the “Playlist Menu” button, choose “Add Playlist”, locate the *.m3u file and click the “Open” button.
