There are many functions in Microsoft® Word that many people are not aware of or aren’t sure how to use. One of which is an imaging feature that is quite interesting and enables you to insert a screen clip or screenshot directly into the document without any additional tools or applications. This function offers you screen captures of all running applications and opened windows on your desktop. In the instructions below you can learn where to find this option in Microsoft® Word 2010.
Inserting a Screen Clip in Word 2010:
- Launch the Microsoft® Word application and open the document you want to insert a screen clip of.
- In the main navigation bar, switch to the “Insert” tab.
- Click on the “Screenshot” dropdown in the “Illustrations” section and select the screen clip.
- The image will be pasted in the document and you can work with it as any inserted image.
