The free Windows® games that accompany the install of the Microsoft® operating system are really popular. Windows® fans are used to playing Solitaire, Hearts, FreeCell, Pinball and other such classics, in their free time and may find it disappointing if the “Games” folder is missing in their Start menu. If this has happened to you, it is no big deal to get it back. The instructions below explain how to install these games as an additional feature to your Microsoft Windows® operating system.
Installing Windows® Games:
- Go to “Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features“.
- Click on the “Turn Windows® features on or off“ link on the left side of the window.
- Check the “Games” checkbox and click on the “OK” button.
Note: You may be asked to insert the Windows® installation disk into your optical drive. - When the installation process finishes, you can find Windows® games in your Start menu.
