If you work daily with Microsoft® Word and want to track the amount of time spent on a document, you can simply use a timer on your watch or, even better, look in the document’s properties. The Microsoft® Word application offers the user an informative time-reporting function named “Total Editing Time” that provides the exact time spent on a document. In the instructions below you can read where you can find this function.
Knowing total editing time on Document:
- Open the Word® 2010 application and normally work on your document.
- Switch to the “File” tab on the main ribbon.
- On the right side of the file menu you can see properties, below is “Total Editing Time” item and time you have already spent on this document (how long has the document been opened).
