Adobe® Photoshop® is one of the most used bitmap graphic editors for creating and modifying bitmap images and graphic designs (e.g. photos). This professional graphics editing program offers various tools and graphic possibilities, which are housed in a sidebar where multiple image-editing functions can be clicked on and used.
Some of the tools may not seem “intuitive”. One example is pen line. Many people just don’t know how to make the line thicker and struggle to try and get it to work. It actually is a simple operation and the instructions below explain how you can thicken the pen line.
Making Pen Line Thicker in Photoshop®:
- Launch the Adobe® Photoshop® application.
- Draw a line (path) and select it.
- You should see a little button at the bottom of the path’s palette called “Stroke path”.
- Click it and the path will be stroked with the current paint brush settings.
Warnings:
- These steps were reproduced in Adobe® Photoshop® CS4, so it may differ slightly in other versions.
