It is common for children to communicate with their friends on the Internet, especially using social networks and instant messengers. Chatting and sharing information on a social network may be dangerous for kids. They may become victims of bullying, hate crimes, or discuss drug use and sexual references, etc. You can monitor your children’s activities on the Facebook® social network by using the free MinorMonitor® application. You only need to log in to the account you want to monitor once, then the software will monitor the information shared via Facebook® such as the kid’s friends list, photos, status updates, messages and likes. MinorMonitor® online application setting:
- Open the Minor Monitor® home page in your Internet browser.
- Click on the “Get Started” button.
- Fill in your personal information such as your name, email and password. Click on the “Sign up now” button.
- Click on the “connect with Facebook” button to set the account to monitor.
- Log in to the account by entering the “Email” and “Password” and clicking on the “Log In” button.
- Now, confirm the information categories you want to monitor. Click on the “Allow” button.
- The application is set. You can now log in to your account on the Minor Monitor® site and see the history of your child’s Facebook® activities.
