Google® Cloud Print is a handy feature of Google Chrome℠ that will enable you to print Internet documents from your mobile phone to your printer wherever you are - all you need is an Internet connection.
Google® Cloud Print is supported on smart phones running the Android™ operating system. Direct support for this system is offered by Google® Docs, an application made by Google® that is now a part of Google® Drive. However, there are some third-party applications, such as Cloud Print, that are available as well.
Follow the steps below to print documents from your Google® account using your Android™ cell phone.
Cloud Print App Instructions:
- Open the “Android Market” on your device.
- Tap the “Search” and type “cloud print” in the search box.
- Tap the “Cloud Print (Paulo Fernandes)” app.
- Tap “Download” and then the “Accept & Download” button.
- Add your Google® account and enable access to this account.
- Select a printer from the list.
- When you are in an application, choose “share” then select the target “Cloud Print”.
- You’ll see a menu with several options, such how you want the item to print. Make your selections and the printing is done!
Tips and Tricks:
- Owners of Apple® phones and tablets with iOS can try PrintCentral® Pro for an iPhone® and iPod® touch or PrintCentral® Pro for an iPad®, which allows printing via Google® Cloud Print.
