The Google Plus (Google+™) social network is quite popular. People use it for personal communication and companies for their business interests. It works similarly to other social networks by allowing you to add people to your account. What makes it unique is that you can tie people together in groups called circles. You can selectively share information with a circle of friends and not with other circles. If for some reason, you want to remove someone from a circle, you can. Although it may not be obvious on how to do it, it’s actually quite simple. The instructions below explain.
Removing someone from your Google+™ circle:
- Launch your Internet browser and log in to your Google+™ account.
- Place your cursor in the top left corner under the Google+™ logo and over the main menu button (The default button is "Home"). When the drop down menu appears, find and click "People".
- Click on "Your circles" at the top navigation bar.
- Enter the person's name in the "Type a name" field on the right.
- Place your cursor over the image of the person you wish to remove.
- Click the "x" symbol (same as for closing).
Tips and Tricks
- If you no longer want to interact with someone, you can block them. While this doesn't remove that person from your contacts, blocking someone will remove them from all your circles and limit the ways in which they can interact with you on Google+™.
