Have you just installed the Mozilla® Firefox® Internet browser (Instructions on how to install it are in the article that focuses on the installation of Mozilla® Firefox®) and downloaded your first file using this browser? If you are not satisfied with the default settings of the download folder, you can change it very easily. The instructions below describe how to set up Firefox® to always ask you where to save the downloading file.
Firefox® download settings:
- Launch the Firefox® Internet browser.
- Click on the “Firefox > Options > Options”.
- In the “General” tab you can see the “Downloads“ location. Select the “Always ask me where to save files” option button.
- Click on the “OK” button.
