In the Microsoft Windows® Media Player in Windows® 7 a new feature was added; the possibility of using Dolby Digital® sound coding. You can easily change the sound output quality. There are three available modes; Normal, Night and Theater. In the instructions below, you can find out how to set Windows® Media to a mode that suits you best.
Setting up Dolby Digital in Windows® Media Player:
- Play the video file in the Windows® Media Player.
- Right click on the video and select “Enhancement > Dolby Digital settings”.
- Select one from the available modes, just by using the option button in front of the options.
- Close the Dolby Digital® settings window.
