Sharing your photos on a social network is a common practice, and you can be sure your friends would love to comment on or rate your uploaded images. Every Facebook® user should know how to upload photos into his account (see the article that focuses on the creation of Facebook® account). If you don’t know how to upload your pictures or images to share on Facebook®, simply follow the instructions below.
Instructions:
- Open your Internet browser and log on to your Facebook® account.
- Locate the “Share:” section at the top of the Main page and click the “Photo” option.
- No you can choose from three options: Upload a Photo, Take a Photo, or Create an Album.
Upload a Photo – you upload a file from your drive or other location in your computer.
Take a Photo – If you have a webcam, you can take a snapshot and upload it directly.
Create an Album – Share more photos by creating an album for them. - Let’s focus on “Upload a Photo” and click on it.
- Click the “Browse” button.
- In the window, locate the image file in your computer and click the “Open” button.
- Now you can type a comment into the box to “Say something about this photo…”
- Then, click the “Share” button.
Tips and Tricks:
- If you want to add a screenshot from your desktop or application, use IM ToolPack (see the article that focuses on the uploading of screenshots) and in the share options click on the Facebook® icon.
- If you move your cursor on the posted image, in the top-right corner you have an “x” icon. Through this, you can remove the post or image.
Warnings:
- Take into account that all images uploaded and shared on Facebook® are public, so avoid sharing secret information.
