How to uninstall HP® Component Manager manually from Windows XP®, Windows Vista® and Windows® 7:
- Go to “Start > Control Panel > Add or remove programs”.
- Select the “HP® Component Manager” application in the list and click on the “Remove” button.
- Go through all the dialog of the uninstaller and remove the HP® Component Manager with all components.
- Once the process has finished, click on the “OK” button.
Manual uninstalling HP® Component Manager in Windows® 8 Metro:
- Right-click on the HP® Component Manager tile you want to remove.
- At the bottom of the screen, a new bar will appear.
- Click the “Uninstall” icon.
- The classic “Program and Features” section of the Control Panel is opened.
- Simply right-click on the HP® Component Manager and select “Uninstall”.

- From the Start screen, place your mouse cursor to the bottom-right corner of the screen to display the side bar.
- Click the “Search” icon.
- In the search box, type “Control Panel” and click the “Apps” tile (option).
