When you are logging into Inbox.com Mobile, it attempts to detect if the device used for the access supports https. If Inbox.com Mobile detects that the device does support https, the login link is automatically changed to https.
However, one of the following problems may occur:
Inbox.com Mobile detects your device as https compliant, but your device does not support it, or you mobile network does not allow https traffic.
Both your device and your service provider supports https, but your device does not have the current version of list of root certification authorities. If this is the case, our server certificate is identified as invalid, and you wil not be allowed to access the login page.
In both cases, if the https support is detected, another link will appear that allows you to login through http. This link is labeled as "Alternate login (Unsecured)".
