To configure your Mac email client follow these steps:
Click on the "Mail" menu and select the "Preferences..." option.
Click on the "plus" button in the bottom left corner.
Select the "POP" option, and click on the "Continue" button.
Fill in the Account Description, Full Name and Email Address field, and click on the "Continue" button.
In the "Incoming Mail Server" field enter my.inbox.com, then fill in your User Name and Password, and click on the "Continue" button.
Select the my.inbox.com as your outgoing mail server, select the "Use Authentication" checkbox, fill in your User Name and Password, and click on the "Continue" button.
Check your account summary and click on the "Continue" button.
Click on the "Done" button.
If your ISP provider blocks the default SMTP port 25, you may use alternate ports 465 or 587 to send your emails.
