Before setting up the POP3 access you first need to activate POP3 in your Inbox account.
After you activate POP3 & SMTP access in your Inbox.com account, you can easily setup your mail client by following the instructions below:
To configure Eudora 7 to send and receive mail from your Inbox.com email account, follow these steps:
Open Eudora 7.
If you are setting up your first email account, the New Account Wizard launches automatically. Otherwise you can open it by clicking on the "Personalities" tab, right-clicking its content and selecting the "New..." option.
Click on the "Next" button.
Select the "Create a brand new email account" option, and click on the "Next" button.
Fill in your name.
Fill in your email address.
Fill in your user name.
In the "Incoming Server" field fill in my.inbox.com, select the "POP" and click on the "Next" button.
In the "Outgoing Server" field fill in my.inbox.com, select the "Allow authentication" checkbox and click on the "Next" button.
Click on the "Finish" button.
If your ISP provider blocks the default SMTP port 25, you may use alternate ports 465 or 587 to send your emails. To change the default SMTP port, click on the "Tools" menu and select the "Options" option.
Then select the "Sending Mail" tab and select the "Use submission port (587)" checkbox.
