Sort rules (filters) help you organize your emails and manage the flow of incoming emails. Sort your emails by moving them into folders, i.e., you can set up a sort rule, which will move any message from certain email address to a certain folder.
After you create a sort rule and activate it, it is applied automatically to new messages in your inbox. Sort rules are applied in the order (priority) you assign to them. So, if you create more rules associated with the same email address (subject, word, etc.), the rule which has higher priority than the other rules is applied. The sort rules order can be easily changed anytime you want. You can also apply a sort rule manually to any folder and reorganize emails from your "Inbox" or "Sent Mail" folder.
Inbox.com allows you to create up to 50 sort rules.
