Inbox.com Builds Stronger Security Measures into its Login and Password Features
June 13, 2014: Inbox.com continues staying ahead of Internet cybercriminals to protect its webmail users with the latest security technologies that keep personal and private information safe. Three new safeguards were recently implemented into the login and password features of Inbox.com webmail accounts.
Login Restrictions
To prevent unauthorized access to your Inbox.com webmail account, we’ve added login safeguards to block anyone trying to guess your password.
Limited number of login attempts
Continuous attempts with an incorrect password will block anyone from accessing your webmail account for a period of time.
Added CAPTCHA
To ensure spammers aren’t part of Inbox.com, new users will have to demonstrate they are really human by typing in the exact numbers or words shown.
Password Strength Meter
To prevent cybercriminals from stealing your password, Inbox.com now provides users with a password strength meter that tells you just how strong your password is as you create it. This places the power of your password safely in your hands!
